The Department of Engineering and Architecture (DIA) has long had relations with foreign universities and cultural institutions, both for teaching and research exchanges. The "International Student Mobility Commission" of the DIA, coordinated by Prof. Gabriele Tebaldi, deals with activities related to international exchange projects that allow students of the various study courses to spend a period of study, internship or research abroad in 'scope of the Erasmus program and at foreign Universities that have signed a collaboration agreement.

The "student international mobility committee" was appointed by the Department Council on 27 April 2017 and the members will remain in office until 31 December 2019, with the possibility of renaming.
